FieldGuard Frost Alert Stations
Our FieldGuard Frost Warning Systems are frequently used by fruit growers and nurseries to warn of the potential for frost damage. The stations are placed in the orchard, vineyard, or nursery at the height of the lower branches, where the risk of frost damage is greatest. Depending on the crop and need, one or multiple temperature/humidity sensors can be placed at different heights within the crop, depending on the model. Features of Model 1:

The FieldGuard Frost Warning System Model-1 typically includes a FieldGuard soil moisture station in combination with the optional air temperature and humidity sensor and/or the optional wet-bulb temperature sensor. In combination with the optional temperature/humidity sensor, the wet-bulb temperature is calculated and in combination with the optional wet-bulb temperature sensor, the wet-bulb temperature can be actually measured.

The FieldGuard Frost Warning System Model-2 is a FieldGuard Station that is fully equipped as a frost warning system and comes standard with 2 x an air temperature/humidity sensor. This station can also be equipped with 3 additional temperature or wet-bulb temperature sensors. The wet-bulb temperature is calculated using the temperature/humidity sensor and can be actually measured with the optional wet-bulb temperature sensor.
